We’re revamping the website a bit so while the tour dates section is being redone we’ll be posting new tour dates here in the blog section and on our Facebook and Myspace pages.

First of all we’d like to say a big hello to our new fans who have discovered the band through the show Skins. Thanks for all the support and awesome comments. Can’t wait for you to hear the full new album.

We’re finally ready to announce the first or our SXSW shows.

We’ll be playing at The Liberty in Austin with Sondre Lerche, ARMS, Pepper Rabbit, Little Scream, and some other bands, as part of our good friend Rawkblog’s day party with Twetyfourbit.

We’ll also be playing The Mission Creek Festival opening for Colour Revolt at The Mill in Iowa City on March 29th and doing some dates there and back so stay tuned for more mid west show announcements.

Get ready for Carousel to air on the MTV show Skins on March 7th. MTV will also be offering up the song as a free download the week the episode airs.

Four days of non-stop driving and we’re here in Los Angeles. All of the Ravens can now say that we have driven across the country. We will be playing a free show at Spaceland tonight at 9:00pm. Below are some pictures from our journey through the desert yesterday.

We stopped to gamble at New York, New York. It was almost like being home, except a lot fewer tight pants.

It’s our day off so of course we’re playing trivial pursuit, drinking coffee and using free wi-fi. Yesterday was very surreal. We woke up early in Chicago, drove for five hours through some beautiful autumn, Indiana countryside and wound up in Cincinnati by Lunch. After a wonderful in studio session at WOXY radio, we made it up to Columbus for our second show, and third major city of the day. In Columbus we saw our first snow of the season. The kids in Columbus are very passionate about their football (go Buckeye’s). From the stage we asked what football team we should root for and about two and a half minutes of heckling and bar brawls ensued. Lesson Learned.

Tonight we’re going to go drool over Brian Jones’ dulcimer at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, see a movie, and go to sleep early. Tomorrow we’re playing at a cool loft in Lancaster, PA called The Sugar Tank.
